This document provides instructions for making a film memory jar in 6 steps: cutting up old film strips with photos of yourself and a friend and gluing them inside a jar without overlapping; adding an LED light inside the jar; and finishing by painting the lid and replacing it to illuminate the film photos from within.

1. Steps for the Film Memory
Jar:

2. Step One:
Take old film strips, possibly
from your last photo shoot,
and make sure they have you
and your best friend in them.
**Note: You might have to
have a new photo shoot.

3. Step Two:
Cut up the strips of film
negatives and select the
ones you want to use.

4. Step Three:
Use a hot glue gun to
glue the film negatives to
your jar. Try not to
overlap them. If you do,
you won’t be able to see
the pictures clearly.

5. Step Four:
Prepare your acrylic paint to
cover the lid of the jar, if you
choose to.

6. Step Five:
Add the LED light inside the
jar.

Put your lid back on your
jar and you’re done!
