Synopsis – A young FBI agent infiltrates an
extraordinary team of extreme sports athletes he
suspects of masterminding a string of
unprecedented, sophisticated corporate heights.
Where - This film is a higher budget thriller ($105
million) therefore it is playing at bigger scale
multiplexes like Vue, Oden, Cineworld.
Audience - It seems to be held at times which is after
the time most people finish work. Therefore,
children aren’t the target audience as expected for
a thriller and it targets mature young adults and
adults. It plays at around six o’clock onwards.

the 1820s fights for survival after being mauled by a
bear and left for dead by members of his own hunting
team.
Where - this film had a budget of $326.1 million and
therefore it is obvious that it will be playing at big
multiplexes like Vue.
Audience - The rating of The Revenant is a 15 showing
that it expects teens and adults to watch and is clearly
not targeted at a young audience. This explains why
the showing’s are at late times because people have
the flexibility to go to the cinema at any time that suits
them.

leaves him with accelerated healing powers,
adopting the alter ego Deadpool.
Where – The budget for this film was 50 million and is
being shown in multiplex cinemas like Vue,
Cineworld and Odeon like the other films. Does
this in order to appeal to a wider target audience.
Audience - The show times are throughout the whole
day making it easier for anyone of any age range
above 15 to watch it. Multiplex cinemas are easily
accessible to everyone.

Synopsis – Five sisters in 19th century England must cope
with the pressures to marry while protecting
themselves from a growing population of zombies.
Where – The budget of this film was $28 million and is
being showed at multiplexes like Vue and Odeon as
well as independent cinemas like Empire.
Audience - The show times are mainly shown from the
afternoon onwards, suggesting it is not targeted at a
young target audience and more towards young adults.
The theme of the film is also suggestive of the target
audience that they want. The cinemas are situated to
easily accessible places.
