2. I love figure skating because it’s a personal sport that allows me to express myself creatively and it’s a sport in which I am never finished learning skills. There is always something else to learn or build upon.

3. I began skating at age 7 and skated regularly until I graduated from High School. My weekends and after-school hours consisted mainly of practices and rehearsals. I hope to one day be a coach in the same club I skated in growing up.

4. Shows/Performances I have performed in 10 Wheeling Symphony on Ice performances and skated in 11 Wheeling Figure Skating Club Exhibitions.

5. USFSA Basic Skills Program I was a member of the Wheeling Figure Skating Club which follows the United States Figure Skating Association’s Basic Skills Program. The Basic Skills Program consists of 8 Basics, or levels. A skater must pass each level before moving on to the next. After passing all basic levels, a skater may move on to more difficult moves, jumps, or spins.
