2. Introduction
 Focusing on emergency care, Dr. Chris Endfinger maintains
board certification in family practice and cares for patients in
Alabama. In his spare time, Dr. Chris Endfinger supports
community organizations, including Fight 4 Life Fitness and
Boxing Ministry (Fight 4 Life).
Established in Birmingham by Greg and Dorothy Young, Fight
4 Life gives underserved inner city youth a place to relieve
anger and stress as well as develop friendships and learn
about Christ. The non-profit opens its facilities to children and
preteens on Mondays, Tuesday, and Thursdays for an hour
and a half in the afternoons. Thereafter, the gym remains
open for teen- and adult-training until 8 p.m. Saturdays are
available from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on select Saturdays.

3. Fight 4 Life
 Fight 4 Life served only youth until 2011, when its
owners began accepting adult memberships. Fees
accrued supplement programs and guarantees that all
children benefit from gym services, despite the ability
to pay. Its programs include afterschool homework
assistance, mentoring, and prayer circles. Its founder
also coordinates group sessions to discuss what is
occurring in boxers’ lives. The gym continues to
positively impact the academic and personal lives of
its boxers. In fact, participants have earned higher
grades and improved their attitudes since joining.
