Mike Gotti calls a meeting with his criminal organization to address a rat in their midst. He presents a dossier identifying undercover cop Doug as the informant. When Doug denies it, Mike shoots him in the leg and then multiple times in the chest, killing him. Mike orders the body cleaned up and money delivered anonymously to Doug's family, acknowledging the blood money aspect but hoping they can use it for good.

2. INT. MIKE GOTTI’S OFFICE, NEW YORK - NIGHT
MIKE
Gentlemen, it seems we have a
little problem with the NYPD’s
finest and they’ve placed a rat
inside our little business, and he
is stood amongst you.
The room falls SILENT, Mikes goons and collaborators shift
about nervously, looking left and right, no one trusts
anyone and most of them have their finger on the trigger
ready to shoot anyone who gets in their way.
MIKE
Look at you all, this organization
has gone down hill, and i plan on
fixing it as soon as we deal with
this little issue, now then.
Mike throws what appears to be a dossier on the table with a
THUD, it’s big and heavy and clearly has a lot to say about
whoever the rat is.
Mike begins to FLICK through the pages one by one.
MIKE
Let’s see here, highly decorated
officer, 2 kids, happily married,
this is a dangerous job for you my
friend, I’m just amazed you managed
to stay hidden this long, you got
your hands pretty dirty in the
process, huh?
Mike points at Doug and everyone shifts out of the way,
leaving Doug in the middle of the parted goons, Doug clearly
nervous, steps forward.
DOUG
Listen Mike, that dossier is a lie,
a farce! I tell you, how in the
hell could i be a cop with all the
dirt on my hands? clearly someone
planted that for you to find-
Mike cuts Doug off, pulls out his pistol and shoots Doug in
the leg, BANG.
DOUG
ARGH GOD YOU SHOT ME, MOTHERFU*KER!
Doug falls to the floor, THUMP, and blood immediately begins
to cover the floor of Mikes office.

MIKE
You were a decent guy, y’know, it’s
a shame you’re a cop, but I can’t
have a dirty little rat in my
organization. Unfortunately for
you, you ain’t gonna get out of
this alive.
Mike begins to fire round after round into Doug’s chest,
BANG BANG BANG, Doug is now lay on the floor in a pool of
his own blood.
MIKE
Let this be a lesson to the rest of
ya, If you double cross me you’ll
end up like Doug here, Johnny make
sure you clean this up.
Mike leaves out of the back door, his goons shifting around
to let him through.
CUT TO:
EXT. MIKE GOTTI’S OFFICE, SEAFRONT, NEW YORK - NIGHT
Mike stands next to the sea front, and stares out toward the
city, smoking a cigarette. The sounds of the city can be
heard in the distance.
JOHNNY
Bodies been cleaned up boss, no
one’s gonna be finding it in the
near future
MIKE
Thanks Johnny, listen, I need you
to take something important
somewhere, real discreet.
JOHNNY
Sure thing boss, where and what?
MIKE
It’s a bit of money, for Doug’s
family, sure he was a rat, but he
still did his job and earned that
money, I want you to drop at at his
family home. You know the place.
JOHNNY
Do you really think his wife is
gonna accept that? it’s blood money
after all.

Mike let’s out and audible SIGH.
MIKE
Well if she doesn’t want it then
I’m sure she can do something good
with it, like charity or whatever
the hell people do with money these
days.
Mike FLICKS his cigarette into the water and turns around to
face Johnny.
JOHNNY
You sure you want me to do this,
you know she’ll probably just give
it to the police.
MIKE
Let her... Like i said she can do
whatever she wants with it, it’s
not like i need anymore god damn
money is it.
JOHNNY
Alright boss I’ll go do that now.
MIKE
The money’s on the table inside.
Mike turns back to staring at the city skyline. Distant city
sounds still audible.
