The Holi festival is a popular festival in India in spring.
Are the party of colors and one festival very important for India. In
this celebration is celebrated the change from winter to spring.
They do it with a lot of color. During this celebration, people painted
and throwing colored powders called Gulai.
THE CARNIVAL OF VENICE

The Carnival of Venice starts around two weeks before Ash
Wednesday and ends on Shrove Tuesday. It always takes place
during the ten days leading up to Shrove Tuesday. Carnival, being
a pre-Lent festival, means 'farewell to meat'. The Venetian
carnival tradition is most famous for its distinctive masks. The
mask is a symbol of the game but also of equality. Wearing
masks and costumes people can completely hide their identity.
Pingxi lantern festival Taiwan

It is a Chinese festival. Is that there are thousands of lanterns
light on pingxi district in Taiwan, It was originally to ward off evil
and disease in the city These lanterns decorated with wishes and
images related to the owner.
Up Helly Aa in Scotland

Up Helly Aa refers to a variety of fire festivals held in the Shetland
Islands in Scotland annually in the middle of winter to mark the end
of the Christmas season. The festival includes a parade of up to a
thousand guizers in Lerwick and has other considerably smaller
celebrations of rural festivals, formed in squadrons that march by the
city or by the town with a variety of thematic costumes.
LA TOMATINA

Usually, the fight lasts for an hour, after which the whole town
square has been covered with tomato paste.Fire trucks then hose
down the streets and participants often use hoses that locals
provide to remove the tomato paste from their bodies. Some
participants go to the pool of “los peñones” to wash.
DAY OF THE DEAD

This is a traditional festival of Mexico. In these days there have
gatherings whit family and friends to pray for and remember friends
and family members who have died, and help support their spiritual
journey.
They create altars with a lot of presents for they.
It starts at 31 of October and finish at 3 of November.

The Songkran Water Festival, also know as the Traditional Thai New Year, is
usually celebrated in mid-April in Thailand.
The Songkran Wter Festival is a time when family and friends gather to pay
gratitude to elders and visit temples for prayer and offering. Is also
The Songkran Water Festival a period when the Thai people cleanse and pour
water mixed with Thai fragance on Buddha images. The festival also
showcases a bathing ritual where the people pour water on the senior
Buddhist monks.
White Nights Festival

Every year, in St Petersburg, there are white nights. This is a
natural phenomenon, makes the night more short. There are
5.000.000 tourist and resident in this festival. This is only in one
month, in July.
The White Nights Festival is famous for the fireworks, dances,
shows and a lot of activities more.
ALBURQUERQUE INTERNATIONAL BALLOON FIESTA

The Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta began in 1972, as the highlight of a
50th birthday celebration for 770 KOB Radio.
Is a yearly festival of hot air balloons that takes place in Albuquerque, New Mexico,
(USA). It is celebrated in early October.
The Balloon Fiesta is a nine-day event, and has over 500 balloons each year. The
event is the largest hot air balloon festival in the world.
The main events are: the dawn patrol, mass ascensions, artistic vision, special shape
rodeo, balloon glows and special events and competitions.
