The NAACP held a town meeting at a local church to discuss the unrest in Ferguson following the shooting of Michael Brown. Protests continued in Ferguson with police using tear gas and force to disperse protesters. The National Guard was brought in to help restore order. Meanwhile, local schools provided sack lunches to students in need while schools were closed due to the unrest.
