GenSYS designs and implements innovative software solutions for
planning, controlling and scheduling production in environments of
great complexity and diversity.
GenSYS is a Spin-Off of the University of Minho, created in 2016 to
respond to various requests in the market and comes as a result of
the success achieved in the research projects in which it was involved.
This research led to the design of a disruptive production management
system, later validated and adopted by world-renowned industrial
partners, of which BOSCH CAR MULTIMÉDIA PORTUGAL, S.A.

The computer system proposed by GenSYS incorporates a set of new
models of article information management, planning, control and
production scheduling that meet the new industry requirements 4.0.
The use of this system allows controlling and synchronizing all the
entities involved in the production system, namely:

machines, enhances the interconnection of this solution with the most
diverse cyber-physical systems and enables the construction of true
"smart factories".

SOPLAST, is a Portuguese company, that has started the activity in
1980 with production of small buttons for the textile industry moving
along the years for complex plastic components for the automotive,
electronic and construction industry.
Our main technologies are injection of thermoplastic (IM from 50 to
400 Tons Hybrid and 100% Electric). Soplast production capacity will
be reinforced until end of 2019 with new machines), overmolding,
welding and assembly.
All IM presses have less than 2 years old and are equipped with the
latest technologies (Energy saving, Robots with 3, 5 and 6 axes,
magnetic mould change, centralized material drying units, raw material
conveying system).
