This document provides information about the Father of the Year award sponsored by the Utah Head Start Association. To be eligible for the award, nominees must be fathers of children enrolled in Head Start during the 2011-2012 school year. Nominees are required to submit answers to questions about their volunteering and participation in Head Start activities, along with a 300-word personal statement and one letter of reference. Applications are due to local Head Start programs by May 18th, and local winners will be forwarded to the Utah Head Start Association by May 25th. The award will be presented at the Utah Head Start Association conference on November 2nd, 2012 in Salt Lake City.
