Campos and Maria Venegas Padilla were born in Cuquio, Jalisco, Mexico and had 11 children together before immigrating to the United States. Their son Salvador Campos, Andrew's great grandfather, was born in Cuquio, Jalisco, Mexico and married Esperanza Mayoral Sanchez in 1958 in Jalisco, Mexico. Andrew's grandparents Sonia Campos and Eduardo Carlos Gonzales married in 1993 in Los Angeles, California and had three children, including Andrew's father. In 2005, they moved to Upland, California for a bigger house, and in 2010 Andrew's grandfather's job moved

Ramon Escamilla's parents immigrated to the United States from Honduras and Mexico in search of better opportunities. His mother Georgina was born in Honduras and immigrated to Mexico in 1970 and then to the United States in 1975. His father Benjamin was born in Durango, Mexico and immigrated to the United States in 1980 after first moving to Tijuana in 1970. Both of Ramon's parents came from poor backgrounds with low education and employment opportunities in their home countries. They settled in Pomona, California in hopes of finding more work and a better life for their family.
