Jackie Buratti was born and raised in Harrington Park, New Jersey but moved with her family to Orange County, California in 2000. She has traveled extensively within the United States while competing in softball tournaments and also visited Italy with her grandmother where she connected with relatives. Jackie comes from a family of seven siblings and is currently working two jobs, including as a tutor, while pursuing a degree in communications at Irvine Valley College and Saddleback College.

2. BackgroundI was born and raised in a small town in New Jersey called Harrington Park. This can be found on the map as Northern New Jersey in Bergen County. I moved here to Orange County with my family in 2000.

3. My Travels I have been extremely fortunate when it comes to traveling. When my family decided to move from NJ to Orange County, we chose to drive across the country. Along the way I saw a lot of the United States. I have gone to many different states when I was competing in softball. I attended Nationals and other qualifiers in the areas of Oklahoma, Utah, Texas, and many others.My sophomore year of high school my Grandma took my sisters and I to Italy! I am Italian so it was amazing to see a bit of my families culture and run into some relatives that some I never knew I had!

4. My Family I am one of five sisters and brothers. All from the same mother and father! Our family of seven starts with, from left to right: Katie, Mom, Me, Pam, Dad, Lucas, PJ!

5. My EducationI have gone to school in NJ till 7th grade. I then have gone to middle school in Aliso Viejo. I graduated from Aliso Niguel High School and I am now finishing my second year at IVC and Saddleback! I hope to transfer locally with a degree somewhere in Communications!

6. I am currently working two jobs. One of my jobs which is my favorite so far is tutoring. I tutor most of the week and occasionally work my other job which is at a Fitness Facility in Laguna Niguel! I have worked both jobs for quite sometime now and plan to continue with them until my education is done.My Job
