2.  The martyrs of Uganda (Roman Catholics,
Anglicans & Moslems) who were murdered by
Mwanga II, btn1885 & 1887.
 The Uganda martyrs shrine was built at the spot
where St. Charles Lwanga was burnt alive .
 Uganda martyrs day is celebrated every 3rd day
of June at the Uganda martyrs shrine ,
Namugongo, Kampala this is a public holiday
thus giving million of people near and far to
make pilgrimage to this holy land (Ministry of
Tourism , Wildlife and Antiquities 2016)
