A small town in Germany called Fussen sits in the foothills of the Bavarian Alps and is home to around 14,000 people. It features two castles - Neuschwanstein Castle, built beginning in 1869 by King Ludwig II and inspired by German legends and Wagner's operas, and Hohenschwangau Castle, the childhood home of King Ludwig II located in an area called Swan Country.
