EFFICACY
What is
EFFICAC?
It is the belief in
one’s capacity to
achieve what one
aims for.
Why Challenges come on our way?
To see ourselves and to
realize that we can if we
will believe in God.
Remember,
everything we have has its limitations: time,
possession, abilities, and even ourselves -
our own very life. But when our end has
come, that is when God’s intervention starts
when we believe.
“Cast all your cares
(all your anxieties,
all your worries, and
all your concerns, once and
for all) on Him, for He cares for you.”
1 Peter 5:7
Challenges can make us
bitter or better.
This is not God’s
choice, this is your
choice to make.
Let us watch
this video.
Be attentive and reflective.
Situations are made to make us go
through the maturation process. As we
react positively with trust from above,
remarkable results take place:
Results of Trusting
God’s Process
1) God will be glorified.
When we accept every challenges and trials by faith and lean on God
knowing He is in complete control, blessings will follow. God is never
glorified when one mope, rebel or curse Him.
When Joseph trusted God, the Bible speaks that in the darkest
moment of his life, God blessed him. In Genesis 39:2-3, 21, 23,
three times did the Bible say, “And the Lord was with him…” it was
because he never waived his faith in God. He did not complain over
the hardships he went through. He did not murmur with all the
seemingly injustices. He rest in peace
with the hands of God.
2) God’s plan will take place.
God is a god of purpose, and He does things according to His
good will. When you react with trust in every challenges, you
can see at the end the “best plan” made by God for you.
Joseph, after 13 years of facing mountains of trial came to the
end of fulfilling God’s plan. “And now, do not be distressed,
neither angry to yourselves for selling me here, because it was
to save lives that God sent me ahead of you. (Genesis 45:5)
If Joseph resisted to trust, the entire land will die in famine,
but because he yielded, people were preserved.
3) God’s molding and shaping of our
character will be perfected.
Remember, God is not after your success alone. God is
after the character you will be before His presence after
the challenges and trials.
”It is in challenges that a person can discover the nature
and depth of his character.”
One can say so many things about his values, but when
pressure is on, he discovers what his values really are.
Don’t quit. It’s shaping time. Truth is tested by time.
4) God’s reward is at hand. There is no
awarder greater enough than
God himself.
Joseph became a governor in Egypt, the second in
highest command after Pharaoh. Blessings from
God is beyond what we expect, but it is given to
them who never give up and neither quit. What was
the glory to become governor of Pharaoh in Joseph’s
time? In Genesis 41: 44, “I am Pharaoh, but without
your word no one will lift hand or foot in all Egypt.”
