2. “What you decide on will be done, and light
will shine on your ways.”
- Job 22:28

For too long many of us might have heard other people tell us that:
 Maybe we don’t have what it takes to achieve a goal or a dream in life.
 Maybe we are not meant to do anything extraordinary in life.
 Maybe you’re just not smart enough or capable enough to be successful.
Maybe you’ve told yourself time and time again:
 I don’t think I can do it!
 I don’t have the ability or know-how!
 People are going to criticize me!
Perhaps you’ve even asked yourself:
 What if I mess up?
 Am I smart enough?
 Am I brave enough?
 Do I have what it takes?

3. SO, DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?
THE SHORT ANSWER IS:
YES!
 You do have what it takes to accomplish your goals and dreams
 You do have what it takes to do something extraordinary in life
 You are smart enough and capable enough to be successful
How Do We Know This? Where Does This Confidence Come From?
It comes from knowing that Almighty God is on our side and that HE
lives inside of us. HE makes us strong enough and capable enough
to be successful. In HIM we are more than what people say we are. In
HIS eyes we are not ordinary,
WE ARE EXTRAORDINARY!

4. SO PUT YOUR EXTRAORDINARY T-SHIRT ON TODAY AND DECLARE
IT!
WHAT…DON’T HAVE ONE?
THAT’S OKAY!
YOU CAN BE EXTRAORDINARY WITHOUT ONE!
EVEN IF NO ONE ELSE CAN SEE IT, GOD SAYS YOU ARE
EXTRAORDINARY!

5. Scripture Tells Us:
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
- Philippians 4:13
“…In all these things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved
us.”
- Romans 8:37
“…Everything is possible for him who believes.”
- Mark 9:23
He replied, "Because you have so little faith. I tell you the truth, if you have
faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from
here to there' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.“
- Matthew 17:20
Go ahead and take this moment to tell yourself –
“YES! I DO HAVE WHAT IT TAKES!”

7. Sometimes you have to encourage yourself when no one else does:
“…But David encouraged himself in the Lord His God.”

Don’t allow fear to be your motivation. Let God’s Word motivate you:
“For God hath not given us a spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”
- 2 Timothy 1:7
“The LORD is the one who goes ahead of you; He will be with you. He will not fail you or forsake you. Do not
fear or be dismayed.”
- Deuteronomy 31:8
REMEMBER, YOU’LL NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU ARE
CAPABLE OF UNTIL YOU TAKE A CHANCE.

8. Some people might ask the question: “But What If I Fail?”
Well, someone once said …
“The only real failure in life is the failure to try.”
And…
“If at first you don’t succeed, try and try again.”
Thomas Edison is a well known historical figure. He invented the light bulb and
was an inspiring leader. However, even he had his setbacks. When his critics
asked him how he felt at failing so many times at inventing the light bulb he
simply responded by saying some of the most famous quotes of all time:
“I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work.”
And…
“I am not discouraged, because every wrong attempt discarded
is another step forward.”

9. In addition to a longer-lasting light
bulb, he also gave us a universal
stock ticker, a mechanical vote
recorder, electrical power, recorded
music, motion pictures, and more.
Edison holds over a thousand U.S.
patents in his name, as well as many
patents in the United Kingdom,
France, and Germany.
Not bad for someone who was deaf
in one ear and partially in the other.
As a child of God you are NO failure,
you are already a great success
story! You are more than an over
comer in Christ!

10. Don’t be discouraged! What might seem like a setback
may just be a set-up for a great blessing in your life.
Remain positive and believe God for the very best! He
has great plans for your life!
“For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you
and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
- Jeremiah 29:11
“And I am sure that he who began a good work in you will complete it.”
-Philippians 1:6
“What you decide on will be done, and light will shine on your ways.”
- Job 22:28

11. That last verse is the verse we began with. In the Easy-to-Read
version of the Bible it says:
“If you decide to do something, it will be successful. And your
future will be very bright!”- Job 22:28.
In other words, whatever you decide to do in life, you will be
successful because you have what it takes to do whatever it takes
to be successful and blessed in life. Your future will be very bright.
God has already placed everything you need
inside of you. Simply ask HIM to help you bring it
out.
So be encouraged and go forward!
