Use Facebook friend lists to categorize your friends into groups.
• Close Friends – These friends posts will show up in your
newsfeed each time they update on Facebook. It will be
shown on your notifications so you never miss a post from
them.
• Acquaintances – These friends posts will not show every time
they post to Facebook. If someone from close friends annoys
you - you can turn them into an acquaintance, they will never
know.
• Restricted – These friends will not see your updates but will
remain your friend. Kids may add parents as restricted or
workers with their bosses. You may not want to deny a friend
request but keep them from seeing your posts at the same
time.
