black and white water based face paint

2. fine liner round brush, splayed / rake brush and fluffy eyeshadow brush
black and grey eyeshadow

3. Technique
The key to a good polar bear face is the fur. Practice your brushwork on your arm
first. Use the fine-liner brush with black paint to create a broken zig zag line, the
brush should not be too wet. You can then go over this with the splayed brush in
white to soften the line in white, the brush should not be too wet for this either.

4. using the grey eyeshadow and fluffy eyeshadow brush add shading to the mask, in the
middle of the nose, top of the mask, middle of ears, eye sockets, side of nose, upper
lash line and middle of the polar bear paws
using the black eyeshadow and fluffy brush, add black to the middle of polar bear ears,
lower part of centre nose, upper and lower lash line and be sure to really blend. This
will add a three dimensional quality

5. using the fineliner brush and black paint add the nose, which should have a flat upper
shape and slightly rounded on the lower nose. Paint in the upper lip slightly flattening
the shape of your upper lip line. Line the upper and lower eye line and smudge. Paint
a black circle in the middle of the white paw with five smaller circles around it then
thin lines coming off the smaller circles that look like tadpoles. Use your fur
technique to paint around the mask
making sure your brush is not too wet apply the white with the splayed brush over
the edges of the mask and lower lip. Use it to highlight areas also.

6. If you want to glam it up a little, use white mascara on the eyelashes and eyebrows.
Add the holographic white glitter to the forhead, lower lip and eyelids. Add small
white dots around the mask, with denser dots closer to the mask thinning out as they
get further away.
