2. Our app is aimed at anyone who struggles to decide what
to wear due to the unpredictable weather.
People are indecisive on what to wear.
You can use this app any day, any time when you are getting
dressed.
It can be used all over the world as the weather changes. To
make getting dressed easier.
Who: Anyone – any age.
What: Not knowing what to wear given the weather
forecast.
When: Any time of day – whenever the user is
thinking of going outside.
Where: All over the world.
Why: Getting dressed more appropriately.
3. Our problem is that…
people get dressed and ready for the
day, but they don’t know what to wear
as the weather is constantly changing
for much of the year.
4. How do you know what to wear for ever-changing
weather?
Would it be useful to get this information when you
get a weather forecast?
Would people benefit from receiving a weather
forecast each morning as a reminder? With
information about ‘what to wear’?
5. How do you know what to wear for ever-changing weather?
It is difficult to think about what to wear each morning – most
people (according to our research) aren’t organised enough
to plan their weeks’ outfits in advance.
Would it be useful to get this information when you get a
weather forecast?
Advice on suitable or unsuitable clothing would be great,
especially if you can time that information for when you wake
up.
Would people benefit from receiving a weather forecast each
morning as a reminder? With information about ‘what to
wear’?
Most people wake up e-mails or announcements from apps…
i.e. news apps giving the headlines etc.
This information would be great to have when you wake up
so that you can use it to plan your day and the clothes that
you will wear.

Our team, Fabulous Four, is developing a mobile app
to help anyone who struggles what to wear, due to unpredictable
weather, to get out off the house quicker without a struggle
deciding what to wear.
7. What does our user look like?
Our users will be:
Male and Female
Aged from 4-104! Young and old!
They will have a love of staying warm in the cold and cool in the warm!
This will be a common feature for them all.
Some qualities that people have when using this app are:
Used by people of all ages and any gender. Used by people who are
indecisive on what to wear when getting dressed .
8. Some other alternate apps were ‘Charge on the GO’
And ‘Beauty Box’. We found that similar apps like this
already existed in the market.
The apps in question dealt mainly with ‘what to wear’
rather than thinking about suitable clothing for current
and up-coming weather conditions.
9. Our most valuable feature is the ability to get
reliable weather information for the full day… this
will in turn make decisions about what to wear,
not only to look good but also to be functional.
We have also thought about the potential
for making money by linking the ‘what to
wear’ page to high-street shops who can
advertise their products for a particular
weather market… i.e. when it is snowing,
The Sock Shop might advertise skiing
socks for sale so that people don’t get
cold feet.
12. Our app idea seems like it could feasibly be put together
using information from other providers. We would really on
accurate weather forecasts – these can be obtain free of
charge from BBC and other providers. The results would
then be cross-referenced with a database to show what
clothes would be needed. This database could also link to
our advertisers who could advertise their product based on
what the weather conditions recommend.
14. Our marketing would initially be targeted in three
areas:
1. Youtube Channel – showing how to use
our app and the benefits of having the
information from our app when you
wake up
2. Free app giveaway – target school
students to start with by giving the app
free to them. They will then show their
parents who will see the benefits
3. Social Media Profile – raising
awareness of our app on social media
