Fabula Musica is a musical duo consisting of Motje Wolf (mezzo-soprano) and Sara Wilander (harpsichord) who present renaissance music and explore stories, legends, and history through their performances. They put on programmes about historical figures like Lady Jane Grey and Anne Boleyn as well as music of Kings and Queens from the Renaissance era. Their recent CD focused on music for Lady Jane Grey and was recorded in the chapel where she lived.

2. Fabula Musica - Stories from the Past
Fabula Musica are Motje Wolf (mezzo-soprano) and Sara Wilander (harpsichord).
Together they present renaissance music with its tales, legends, history and myths. With
musical mastery and wit they put their audience under the spell of the world of Kings and
Queens, tragedy, comedy, love, longing, suffering and rejoicing. In their programmes they
explore the lives of Lady Jane Grey and Anne Boleyn, perform music of Kings and Queens
and bring the stories of the Renaissance era to life.
Their recent CD ‘Music for Lady Jane Grey’ was recorded in the Chapel of the house of
the Grey Family in Bradgate Park, Leicester.
Motje and Sara perform in renaissance dresses and bring their own harpsichord.
