GMR Transmission Line Project organized a one-day eye checkup camp and environmental awareness program at a government school in Rajasthan. Over 100 people received eye exams from the Indian Red Cross Society and free medicines. Students and staff also planted 30 trees and participated in an environmental quiz with prizes for the winners. The goal was to promote eye health and raise awareness of how to protect the environment.

13th of May 2013
3. The programme begin with the regular school
prayer and inaugurated by School Principle Mr
SK Meena.
4. In its Inaugural speech Dr Sharma of
Indian Red Cross Society spread the
awareness of eyes related Diseases and
told that what precautions & care
should be taken to care of the most
valuable gift of god.

to safe and clean the
environment.
6. Mr. MKC Site Engineer L&T also
provide valuable inputs to students

7. On this day Total 30 sapling was done
in the school campus and village area
by our staff & school Childers
8. Dr. RK sharma of red cross Society with its team tested
the eyes of students and local peoples. A total 124
people benefited by in this camp. And free medicines
was provided to the needy people.
9. In its Environmental awareness programme
our team organized quiz among the school
Children. Quiz consists of environmental
related questions which were prepared by our
team experts.
10. And later prize were distributed to the
winners of quiz competition.
