With so much exposure to the oil business from his base in Houston, Texas, the
‘Oil Capital of the World’, Jim became a significant investor in 2012 with his initial
oil lease purchases. In 2014, when prices fell in the petroleum market, Jim saw
this as an exceptional opportunity to buy further oil leases which could be
subsequently developed to become much more productive and highly profitable.
Founded and built the ‘Environmental Group’ in the 1970’s, representing foreign and
domestic companies with products used in filtration and other industrial applications.
Founded Transcontinental Mineral Corporation (TCM) in Houston, Texas which
processed various minerals as filler materials and fine powder used by Owens
Corning Corporation, Celotex Corporation, Benjamin Moore and Global Drilling
Resources in Pearland, Texas.
Founded Pak Tex International Inc., in Houston, Texas specialising in the importation
of pumice used in denim stonewashing process by companies like Levi Strauss & The
Gap. He subsequently licensed his product to leading corporations including global
brands Levi Strauss, The Gap and Calvin Klein.
With a strong interest in foreign currency trading, Jim partnered with several other
traders in 2002 to form Pro Act Traders LLC which serves traders globally with a
subscriber based proprietary charting system.
Became a licensed securities introducing broker with FXDD (Foreign Exchange Direct
Dealer) in New York.

A leading oil industry geologist and one of the owners of Poplar Royalty LLC / Oil
Lease Joint Ventures Russell Montgomery is a graduate of Richland College,
Dallas, Texas and the US Navy.
He is a recognised oil industry expert specializing in Petro Geology including the
investigation and analysis of petroleum bearing formations. He has particular expertise
in fixing, improving and maximizing the production of leases. He is married with a
young family and his interests include competitive shooting, American football, Drift
racing and edible crop gardening.
As a consultant, Russell has helped big oil corporations address problems with lifting
efficiency and developing more effective methods for maximizing oil. He discovered
and proofed clay matrix carbonates issues in 13,000ft Austin Chalk wells and
developed and streamlined drilling and completion techniques that saved over 1.6
million per well by using digital chromatography and mass spectrometers to discover
and develop 22 additional productive zones, creating thousands of acres of additional
mineral leases.
He has also worked on the large Samson direction drilling Austin Chalk wells project,
producing millions of cubic feet of gas and 3500+ barrels of oil a day per well. His
company, ENERGON3 is the operator for Oil Lease Joint Ventures and is firmly
established as one of the premier operators in the Texas region. The company
currently has production goals in excess of 50,000barrels oil a day.

7. Raymond Ward is a third generation Texan oil field worker with a wealth of knowledge of oil field
operations gained over several decades. He understands exactly what is takes to bring wells from initial
drilling through completion and how to successfully develop underperforming assets and maximize
production. Raymond has extensive knowledge of working on oil field equipment and outside drilling rigs
and has worked with many leading oil companies during his career. He is married with eight children and
his interests include fishing, travel, coin collecting and antiques. His extensive industry experience

8. Dr. David Halko grew up in the Sierra Nevada Mountains and was educated at Yerington High school,
Nevada. He is a graduate of the University of Las Vegas and Parker College of chiropractic, Dallas Texas.
He is married with two sons and based in Georgetown, Texas where he has been in private practice as a
Doctor of Chiropractic medicine since 2002. His successful practice is committed to designing and
innovating new products and helping people realize improvements in their health through Chiropractic
care and targeted clinical nutrition. His interests include off road motorcycle racing, cars, hiking, running
and water sports.

In 2002, he founded SuperFly RC, an innovative company engaged in the
design and manufacture of lightweight durable radio control electric aircraft
in Georgetown, Texas that were ultimately distributed globally. In 2011, he
founded Natural Tanks LLC a business that developed and produced a natural
mineral based water purifier for domestic and exotic fish owners, breeders
and wholesalers.
David became interested in oil production several years ago as he watched
major shifts begin to occur in the markets which created the perfect

Caterpillar. Equipped with a hydraulic pulley system it drills wells significantly faster and
safer than traditional chain driven systems.
