programme you see a lot of narration, observation, interviews and archive 
footage that is mixed in with one another.

The camerawork used in the documentary use a variety shots and a variety of camera 
through out the documentary. When looking at the dogs in the programme they are 
all used with a close up this makes viewers pay attention to the detail within the dogs. 
The cameras are mainly focusing on the different shots that they can get the dogs in 
this usually ranges from a close up to a long shot. This displays all the different 
features and the detail within the dogs that make the documentary more interesting.

that can be seen in the clip are all relevant to themes that are portrayed in the 
clips. This also can be seen as the different settings that relate to all the topics in

Editing

the year. By the use of graphics you can tell that this footage is 
archive footage due to the date. Another part of archive 
footage is the old newspaper article that’s in the frame also 
even though the magazine cover is the most recent its still 
known as archive footage

The graphics used in the documentary, extreme dog styling, shows different fonts 
and different graphics that show what the programme is about. 
Just by using the scissor graphic on 
the title screen without looking at 
the background image you know 
what the clip is going to be about.
