This study investigates the solubility of dapsone, an anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial drug, in deep eutectic solvents (DES) compared to traditional solvents, emphasizing the impact of intermolecular interactions on solubility. The research highlights how various DES, composed of choline chloride with different polyols, can enhance dapsone's solubility significantly and utilizes machine learning to analyze the solubility data and intermolecular interactions. Overall, the findings support the potential of DES as environmentally friendly alternatives for improving the solubility of poorly soluble pharmaceutical compounds.
