Project Summary
Introduction
Our medium business organization needs a telecommunication system that is flexible and that can adapt easily to the particular business’s growing needs. The phone system must be in such a way that it offers the exact qualities and features that the business needs, not only today but also in future. By having such a system, the business will have gotten a cost-effective solution that can cater for all the enterprise branch locations. The medium sized business needs a system, which can for instance be configured with various communication endpoints. The telecommunication system has to be unified and must have contact centers as well as related services that are linked together. The goal of having such an upgraded phone telecommunication is to ensure that there is improved customer service, efficiency, collaboration and competitiveness (Mueller, 2004).
The project objectives
The objective of this project is to install new and upgrade the existing company telephone system so that the system can:
1. Offer easy-to-use features that can ensure that any missed call does not transform into a missed business opportunity.
2. Quickly transfer calls to users’ mobile if they are away from the office.
3. Set the users’ voicemail using professional messaging.
4. Check emails, missed calls and call history using an on screen logging system.
Project Description
One of the ways of upgrading the mobile system is by creating an IP Office. This application is built from scratch specifically for medium-sized businesses. It is used for delivering communication capabilities that huge organizations are used to. It does this duty with elegant simplicity and it is very easy to use. With this phone system, the growing enterprises can be in a position of differentiating themselves from competitors via enhanced employee productivity, improved customer service and lower costs. Three IP office editions are tailored to meet the business needs of the medium sized company. These are advanced, preferred and essential edition. For the Essential Edition, the costs are down but this application has the key communication capabilities. With the preferred Edition, the company will be in a position of gaining ten times the voice messaging ability that Essential Edition offers. Besides, this application will also enable the company to handle many calls at the same time. On the other hand, the advanced edition will ensure that efficiencies and productivity is maximized. The preferred or advanced editions will make it possible for the company to give the individual workers the communication tools needed by them to perform at their best. Big Foot Financial Bank is not a standard financial bank. We run checking and savings account throughout the United States. We have many services and banking needs that can help many customers from the internet banking to the 24 hour ATM design. We can transfer money up 10,000 transactions per day. We will deploy the following online banking to mobile devices and computer laptops and desktops to the homes of people in the United States. Instead of ATM machines we want people to access money markets accounts. Having access to Quicken and or MS Money from application given to them.
We have over one hundred employees and with different location from California to New York We have several tech support personnel on-hand along with the security to help combat virus and spams as well.
Major function: This project will need security logon, a good running computer, Laptop or mobile device to run with memory and internet needs. Some of the Major function of the bank. Will be to download the Statement Activity. Having Quicken and MS Money application users to use to balance their check books.
Also another function will be able to access all the users’ accounts at once. There is also available if a business owner has a business account it can be accessed for that person to see along with their personal accounts. A very well put together will be that the users will be able to pay bills online. All they will have to do is push a button and take a picture of the bill and it will send them to that website according to the picture and pay there bill online from their account. Deposit there checks from their home as well from scanning them somehow.
Constraints: we would have several time and scope along with cost in which we will need to see what the project manager can do to help with starting the project. Another issue would be what team we bring in to acquisition the software when making the mission successful.
Choosing the right PM as well can be slow the process done. However just doing the proposal we need to make every requirement count. Communication can be time costly along with cost will go up if we don’t communicate what we want.
Users have the ability to download their statements from a mobile device.

It has come to my attention that certain members of this o!ce are not
abiding by the travel policies approved by the state. Let me o"er a few
examples.
The Montana Revised Code includes this statement in its introduction:
Persons who travel on State business are encouraged to incur the
lowest practical and reasonable expense while still traveling in an
e!cient and timely manner. Those traveling on State business are
expected to avoid impropriety, or the appearance of impropriety,
in any travel expense. They must conduct State business with
integrity, in compliance with applicable laws, and in a manner that
excludes consideration of personal advantage.
Yet I have learned from o!cial sources that on four occasions in the last
#scal year, employees of this o!ce have acted in $agrant violation of
this policy. Two occasions involved choosing a $ight that left at a more
convenient time in the morning but that cost almost $160 more. One
involved selecting a cab, rather than a shuttle bus, for a trip from the
airport to downtown (a $24 di"erence), and one involved using room
service when the motel has a café (a $14 di"erence).
Another provision of the travel policy that has been violated on more than
one occasion is the following:
Travel expenses are not paid in advance except for airfare charged
to the State air travel card, for online (Internet) air or train ticket
purchases, and for conference registrations.
Two employees have on more than three occasions each received
reimbursements for air and/or train reservations made using their
personal credit cards. As you know, using personal credit cards leaves the
State without o!cial documentation of the expense and gives the traveler
bonus miles and/or cash back that properly belongs to the State.
These are just two of the kinds of irregularities that have been brought
to my attention. I do not need to tell you that these violations constitute
serious breaches of public ethics. If they recur, they will be dealt with
harshly. I sincerely hope that I do not have to address this issue again.

Responsible for the Mobile meeting room technology such as the Demo cellphones
which allow us and the stakeholders to test the Mobile application. Assigned by Business
Analyst.
Responsible for converting the Business Required Specifications into User story on
multiple projects, example Old Mutual Namibia. The purpose of the User story is to
simplify the BRS into sprints which any stakeholder will be able to understand. The
multiple projects we work on I have displayed it in our Mobile meeting room wall using
vinyl tape and for each project there will be a list of User story in chronological order.
This User story falls part of an Agile Methodology, quick way of doing things because of
multiple projects worldwide. Assigned by the Senior I.T Manager.
We had 10-15 minute scrum meetings every day which addresses the following:
A) What have you completed since the last meeting? B) What do you plan to complete by
the next meeting? C) What is getting in your way?
Responsible for test pack assigned by Senior Business Analyst, Copy deck that enabled
me to check grammar and punctuation of the App and Test pack to ensure that the
functionality of the App working.
Worked on a collaboration platform called Trello which allow me to communicate with our
I.T vendor and see if the bugs were corrected. Any bugs I found when testing in the Beta
stage app I will screen shot it or write a report then e-mail it to our I.T vendor, I will then
do quality assurance testing to ensure that the bug has been fixed by testing the app
again assigned by the Senior I.T Manager
Developed test cases such as the test pack and copy deck then approved by the Senior
Business Analyst, the mobile team will then test the Mobile application. Assigned by the

Emergency services are an applet within our Old Mutual Mobile application. It enables
clients to contact their nearest police station.The task I have carried out was contacting
approximately 1000 Police stations within South Africa confirming that their contact
details are correct in lieu of providing an enhanced customer experience. This piece of
work is quite important as customers would use it in an emergency situation. Assigned by

intranet Billing Register and comparing with real time information by walking the floor and

Senior Project Manager weekly minutes. Updated the minutes on SharePoint which
allowed the Mobile Solution team to review the minutes and prepare for the upcoming
meeting.
Responsible for seeking 3 best quotations then approved the quotation by the Line
Manager then send the vendor application form if the vendor not on our database. I will
update the vendor application on Iprocurement founded on Oracle which will then be
approved by Line Manager, Business Lead Manager and then General Manager. I will
then take the hard copy to the Line Manager, Business Lead Manager and General
Manager to be signed then hand delivered to the Finance Department which will do the
final process of the payment to the vendor. Communicate and follow up regularly with the
payment of invoices to the Finance Department.
Responsible for paying 1.3 Million Rand to our I.T vendor, 13 resources which are
responsible for the actual coding and binary of the Mobile application. This process is
similar to above bullet point.
Responsible for IExpense claims which was direct cost such as Mobile devices paid by

Verifying international teleconference calling details with various in-Africa countries
