Executive Summary
Innovation is a key driver of competitiveness. It helps firms develop new products and
processes while improving environmental and social impacts.
This report is a summary of proceeding of a research on unmet needs of customers in stitch
up outlets & create an innovation for main unmet need which is “customer couldn’t find new
trends in the fashion industry at once”!
Therefore, in our unmet need we are going to aim all those stuffs and going to introduce
innovative ideas regarding that specific case. We will progress to solve that burning issue by
using by using both inside and outside of the retail outlet without making customers strange
during their shopping.
In outside of the retail outlet we will go to arrange high quality video displays and inside we
will go to introduce tag system to identify the arrival of the fashion attires by categorizing them
according to period which they came up with.
Additionally, we are highly expecting considerable profit and sales increase after implementing
those techniques.
The Need
Consumer behavior considers the many reasons why personal, situational, psychological, and
social—people shop for products, buy and use them, and then dispose of them.
When we are doing research on unmet needs of customers in the retail outlets, we found lots
of reasons for that case. After collecting all reasons we saw one case is important to be solved
by using innovations.
A trend implies the direction or movement of a fashion. The trend is often used same with
fashion. Trends are described in ways that imply:
1) Degree of acceptance
2) Direction
3) Duration
4) Relationship with other vendors
When a Clothing Designer introduces a new fashion, it may be accepted or rejected by the
buying public. A "Trend" occurs when a new design is accepted and sells in sufficient quantity in
some test markets, and then creates a demand from consumers across a broader market.
Then our main problem is “customer couldn’t find new trends in the fashion industry at once”
to be solved. In this case there are things which customer expected and due to lack of
awareness of him made him confused person regarding new styles, new trends which come
from season to season and fashion brands which produces good products. This case happened
because some time customer has lack of knowledge of new fashion trends or retailers didn’t
keep away old fashion stocks from the stocks.
Your Solutions
Innovations in technology continue to have massive effects on business and society. We’re now seeing
emerging markets become hotbeds of innovation, especially in efforts to reach the growing middle class
and low-income consumers around the globe.
For the above mention our unmet need ,we are going to aim all those stuffs and going to introduce
innovative idea regarding that specific case. We will progress to solve that burning issue by using both
inside and outside of the retail outlet without making customers strange during their shopping. In
outside of the outlet we will go to arrange a high quality video displays and in inside we will go to
introduce tag system to identify the arrival of the fashion attires by categorizing them according to
period which they came up with.
From the outside of the retailer shop we are expecting to hang HD video displays which can display all
the regarding short time videos which regarding the inside products and its buyers commercial
advertisements. Furthermore, in our retail shop we are imagining there are 3 floors as 1st one is the
baby and motility ware section, 2nd floor is the ladies ware section and the top floor is the gents ware
section. So almost there are complete 3 floors and we are hoping to hang huge 3 video displays similar
to the floors and each specific section displays the things which are regarding to that specific floor. In
those displays we display the new arrivals and that takes the main place. Then the system we are going
to identify them and so on. Not only that, but also we are going to show the brand names which are
supplying the clothes to the retailer shop and their commercial advertisements. By showing and
publishing them advertisements, buyers publicity also can be increased and customers can get an idea
about the clothes they are consuming at the moment too.So to publish the advertisement of buyers we
are going to charge also and that would increase the profit levels and awareness of the customers
regarding the clothe brands. Not only that, but also in those advertisements buyers can publish their
new innovation stages products and they can ask votes for them from customers and if the vote number
increases, buyers can produce them further and the business also would be going smoothly. According
to our point of view we see that as a good innovative thing too. Those displays are rotatable and those
displays must change short time to time too.
In inside of the retailer shop we are going to introduce a new tag system regarding the arrival of the
arteries as gray, blue and green. That would be a new thing and we must aware that system for
customers by showing it in inside and from outside also. We are going to tag our whole clothes by using
those colored tags according to their time and we are going to make a policy too. That is, there is a
maximum time period, which we can hold the clothes as maximum 3 months. After 3 months we are
going to resell them for 50% of the original price and those clothes are not kept among the present
styles and we are going to keep them in another place on the same floor. The gray color tag is put after
the clothes remain in the hangers about 60 to 90 days and we are taking them as old stuffs. After 90
days went on we are going to remove them the hangers also. Then the blue color indicates the mid class
which is old 2 months, 30 to 60 days and after it passes 60 days the blue tag would be remove and gray
tag would be attached to it. Then the green color indicates fresh items and they can vary 1 day to 30
days till the arrival and that color also change after it passes 30 days too. That system would keep our
quality statues of the retailer shop also. Not only that, but also that system would be clearly monitor
customers to fashions which they seek. That color system will be indicated in each and everywhere on
the inside of the retailer shop and in the video displays regarding the whole retailer shop. Then
customers can get an idea about the shop by staying outside of the retailer shop too.

Executive summary

  • 1. Executive Summary Innovation is a key driver of competitiveness. It helps firms develop new products and processes while improving environmental and social impacts. This report is a summary of proceeding of a research on unmet needs of customers in stitch up outlets & create an innovation for main unmet need which is “customer couldn’t find new trends in the fashion industry at once”! Therefore, in our unmet need we are going to aim all those stuffs and going to introduce innovative ideas regarding that specific case. We will progress to solve that burning issue by using by using both inside and outside of the retail outlet without making customers strange during their shopping. In outside of the retail outlet we will go to arrange high quality video displays and inside we will go to introduce tag system to identify the arrival of the fashion attires by categorizing them according to period which they came up with. Additionally, we are highly expecting considerable profit and sales increase after implementing those techniques. The Need Consumer behavior considers the many reasons why personal, situational, psychological, and social—people shop for products, buy and use them, and then dispose of them. When we are doing research on unmet needs of customers in the retail outlets, we found lots of reasons for that case. After collecting all reasons we saw one case is important to be solved by using innovations. A trend implies the direction or movement of a fashion. The trend is often used same with fashion. Trends are described in ways that imply: 1) Degree of acceptance 2) Direction 3) Duration 4) Relationship with other vendors When a Clothing Designer introduces a new fashion, it may be accepted or rejected by the buying public. A "Trend" occurs when a new design is accepted and sells in sufficient quantity in some test markets, and then creates a demand from consumers across a broader market. Then our main problem is “customer couldn’t find new trends in the fashion industry at once” to be solved. In this case there are things which customer expected and due to lack of awareness of him made him confused person regarding new styles, new trends which come from season to season and fashion brands which produces good products. This case happened because some time customer has lack of knowledge of new fashion trends or retailers didn’t keep away old fashion stocks from the stocks.

  • 3. Your Solutions Innovations in technology continue to have massive effects on business and society. We’re now seeing emerging markets become hotbeds of innovation, especially in efforts to reach the growing middle class and low-income consumers around the globe. For the above mention our unmet need ,we are going to aim all those stuffs and going to introduce innovative idea regarding that specific case. We will progress to solve that burning issue by using both inside and outside of the retail outlet without making customers strange during their shopping. In outside of the outlet we will go to arrange a high quality video displays and in inside we will go to introduce tag system to identify the arrival of the fashion attires by categorizing them according to period which they came up with. From the outside of the retailer shop we are expecting to hang HD video displays which can display all the regarding short time videos which regarding the inside products and its buyers commercial advertisements. Furthermore, in our retail shop we are imagining there are 3 floors as 1st one is the baby and motility ware section, 2nd floor is the ladies ware section and the top floor is the gents ware section. So almost there are complete 3 floors and we are hoping to hang huge 3 video displays similar to the floors and each specific section displays the things which are regarding to that specific floor. In those displays we display the new arrivals and that takes the main place. Then the system we are going to identify them and so on. Not only that, but also we are going to show the brand names which are supplying the clothes to the retailer shop and their commercial advertisements. By showing and publishing them advertisements, buyers publicity also can be increased and customers can get an idea about the clothes they are consuming at the moment too.So to publish the advertisement of buyers we are going to charge also and that would increase the profit levels and awareness of the customers regarding the clothe brands. Not only that, but also in those advertisements buyers can publish their new innovation stages products and they can ask votes for them from customers and if the vote number increases, buyers can produce them further and the business also would be going smoothly. According to our point of view we see that as a good innovative thing too. Those displays are rotatable and those displays must change short time to time too. In inside of the retailer shop we are going to introduce a new tag system regarding the arrival of the arteries as gray, blue and green. That would be a new thing and we must aware that system for customers by showing it in inside and from outside also. We are going to tag our whole clothes by using those colored tags according to their time and we are going to make a policy too. That is, there is a maximum time period, which we can hold the clothes as maximum 3 months. After 3 months we are going to resell them for 50% of the original price and those clothes are not kept among the present styles and we are going to keep them in another place on the same floor. The gray color tag is put after the clothes remain in the hangers about 60 to 90 days and we are taking them as old stuffs. After 90 days went on we are going to remove them the hangers also. Then the blue color indicates the mid class which is old 2 months, 30 to 60 days and after it passes 60 days the blue tag would be remove and gray tag would be attached to it. Then the green color indicates fresh items and they can vary 1 day to 30 days till the arrival and that color also change after it passes 30 days too. That system would keep our quality statues of the retailer shop also. Not only that, but also that system would be clearly monitor customers to fashions which they seek. That color system will be indicated in each and everywhere on the inside of the retailer shop and in the video displays regarding the whole retailer shop. Then customers can get an idea about the shop by staying outside of the retailer shop too.
