It suggests including a permanent link to the Modules section on the home page as a smart practice, as many teachers also post the latest announcements or use the home page to explain how the class works. The custom home page can serve multiple purposes, such as posting announcements or including dynamic buttons to streamline information for students.

The custom home page can serve many purposes at
once. many teachers use it to post the very latest
“announcement” or “awareness” information. Others
have dynamic buttons that help streamline the “how
this class works” information for students. I would
say that, at a minimum, this page should direct
students (especially near the start of a course) where
to begin. I would image a permanent link/reminder to
the Modules section to be a very smart practice.
