From 18–20 June 2025, the Africa Landscape Leadership Camp (LLC) was held in Nairobi, Kenya, ahead of the GLF Africa 2025 Hybrid Conference. Co-designed by the Global Landscapes Forum (GLF) and the Youth in Landscapes Initiative (YIL), the camp brought together over 60 young landscape leaders from across the continent to re-imagine and root the future landscapes of Africa in the visions, knowledge and needs of African youth.

3. TunSea, founded in 2023, is an association dedicated to advancing
marine knowledge, promoting conservation awareness, and fostering
both national and international cooperation. Through research,
education, and a participatory approach, TunSea aims to protect
marine biodiversity and resources for future generations.

4. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020,
The TunSea Facebook group was created, bringing together more than
60,000 marine science enthusiasts in Tunisia. Animated by daily
publications on marine life in the Mediterranean and particularly in
Tunisia, with +80 publications, 500 comments and 1000 reactions on
average each day,

5. OUR CONTRIBUTION TO MARINE
CONSERVATION EFFORTS:
CITIZEN SCIENCE
We collect data on marine species and phenomena to enhance
understanding of the marine environment.
This information is crucial for developing effective conservation
strategies.
Successfully identified over 50 new species, both indigenous and
invasive.

6. TunSea managed to engage artisanal fishers
and local women around a common objective:
to highlight the ecological wealth of the bay
while strengthening the local social and
economic growth.
