1. In terms of the poster, there is a distinct house style to fit the conventions of the horror genre. I feel that the use of colours such as deep dark blacks, reds and greys connote horror and bloodshed, and the picture of the dead body shows the stereotypical 'victim' of a horror film. However, I feel that the downside is that due to the convergence of the poster from my original idea to the group idea which took a more psychological route. Due to other work pressures I felt I didn't have sufficient time to improve my poster a great amount in order to help it fit better to the more specific genre that Shortcoming comes under. The website took a similar theme as it's theme matched that of the poster in terms of font and style etc. with the black and red which I feel worked well.
