Here are two slides from my research,
information on the Georgian Expansion and
on the famous Royal Baths. I wanted to
make sure I did enough in depth research
so that I could pick and choose specific
subjects I wanted to talk about. For the
Royal Baths segment I found out lots from
the now Turkish Baths online website.
To gain some basic knowledge on types of
documentaries, I looked at different genres
such as OBSERVATIONAL and POETIC. I wish
however I had focused more on historical
documentaries as a lot of the genres I
looked at were more focused on people and
peoples lives.
One of my initial backing
tracks that I collected
during the planning stage.
An example of the music I decided
to go with in the end, a lofi remix of
Singing in the Rain used in my
Harrogate Theatre Segment
Issue I had with my
green screen and ultra
keying. This happened
as when I was filming,
the green screen had
creases and shadows
and the lighting
wasn’t great. Creasing in background and
shadows around subject and
corners due to lighting.
Here you can see that the green screen
effected my hair, leaving blotches cut
out in multiple different shots. This was
really annoying and made the shooting
look bad and it wasn’t nice to look at.
