1. MY IDEAL LIFE PARTNER
It is every woman’s dream to have a perfect and wonderful life partner, so do
I. Unfortunately, finding those ‘quality man’ these days is not as easy as ABC. Why
do I wish for an ideal husband? It is because good qualities in a husband can affect the
entire dynamic of the marriage and help to ensure that my marriage will be longer
lasting and happier. There are few characteristics of an ideal life partner I have been
dreaming of.
First and foremost, an ideal husband of mine should be a loving man. Since
marriage is a once in lifetime experience – though many people nowadays marry
more than once – I want love in the marriage that I will build with my Mr. Right. He
should love me as much as I love him. He too should love me as I am. With love, we
can strengthen the bond between us and then our marriage will stronger than ever.
Next, my ideal husband should have a great personality such as respect and
loyal. Since, I’m the type of person who treats people the way they treat me, he must
be a respectful man. He must show respect to my family and relatives. I do not want
any arguments between him and my family. He too must respect me as his wife. Apart
from that, he also has to be a loyal man because to me, loyalty shows that he took the
oath “till death do us apart” seriously.
An ideal life partner of mine also must be a responsible man. Responsibility is
very important as my mother always remind me that once I am married, he is the one
who should be responsible to me. He too must be responsible to be a good father to
the child or children we will have together. I do not want to be the only one working
hard for our family since he is the head of the family.
Last but not least, my ideal life partner must be an honest man. Honesty is
especially vital in a relationship because in order to sustain our marriage, the both of

2. us must be sure that they are trusted and can trust the other person. He must not lie,
cheat or deceive. The two of us must be open to each other about anything that
happened in each others life. This is because if one of us feels that the other maybe up
to something fishy, a lot of unpleasantness can result. In a nutshell, it will be terrible
to life in a marriage where there is no honesty with each other.
I might not get the ideal life partner I have been dreaming of as things do not
usually work the way we want it to be. I just hope and pray that my Mr. Right is
someone who understand me and can lead me to a bright tomorrow.
