The meeting participants discussed plans for an upcoming student mobility program between April 11-15th in which 6-7 students and 3 teachers would travel. They also agreed to a second mobility for Turkish students and teachers to visit with students from May 23-27th. The group discussed criteria for assessing workshops during the mobilities and sharing ideas between parties. Priorities and objectives of the ECO App project were reviewed along with offering Turkish teachings on the "Action Bound" scavenger hunt application. Locations for future student and teacher workshops were discussed before adjourning the meeting until their next one.

Innovations in Teaching? A Critical Look At A Three-Country Teacher Education...
In this presentation we (Sauro, Spector Cohen & O'Dowd) examine a three-country teacher education partnership, designed to English teachers to innovative uses of technology, using the following four points introduced by O'Dowd's in his 2015 keynote at Eurocall: (1) the effectiveness of this partnership for contributing to the goals of (foreign) language education, (2) the degree to which this partnership sufficiently addressed the needs and challenges of twenty-first century educators, (3) what future research directions could be drawn from this experience, and (4) how telecollaborative initiatives outside of CALL could be used to inspire or enhance future similar exchanges.

Luganda language is one of the indigenous languages spoken by people of Uganda. Out of the 45+ indigenous languages of Uganda, Luganda is the most widely spoken with more than eight million speakers (Namyalo, 2013). Although Luganda is a fairly well documented language, and while it is being taught as a subject of study at some education institutions in Uganda, many young learners of this generation are slowly detaching themselves from its study (LTA, 2014). The need to address this challenge is urgent. Otherwise, many young learners of this generation will continue to detach themselves from the study of Luganda. When this challenge is not addressed, Luganda language will lose its continuity and risk becoming extinct. The larger study from which this paper emerges aimed at cultivating teacher-trainees’ experiences of utilising emerging technologies (ETs) in teaching to revitalise Luganda language.

Addressing Inequity in Education via Mandatory Staff Development

This session draws on the experience of different institutions and their approach to addressing inequity in education within a HE context. Colleagues from De Montfort University, Kent University and University of the Arts London discuss how they are utilising mandatory staff development programmes, in the shape of Postgraduate Certificates to help academic staff to innovate and transform their teaching practice in light of the decolonising agenda.
Each of these institutions have various levels of experience in adopting this approach. Each will explain their individual approaches and reflect on the strengths and challenges they have encountered. In sharing this practice, we hope to inspire other institutions to also take bolder steps to developing a more equitable and inclusive student learning experience through their PG Certs.
We propose to run a structured plenary discussion providing an overview of the different approaches that institutions have taken to bringing issues of inclusive practice, decolonisation and racial and social justice into the key remit of mandatory PG Certs. There will be opportunity for delegates to reflect on challenges/approaches of presenting a similar approach within their institution.

APCEIU is a UNESCO center established in 2000 by agreement between UNESCO and South Korea. It works to promote global citizenship education (GCED) through research, capacity building, and information dissemination in the Asia-Pacific region. Recent activities include forums on GCED, training workshops for teachers and school leaders, and developing a GCED clearinghouse website. Upcoming work includes international surveys on GCED in education policies and a guide for implementing GCED in the South Korean curriculum.

Colleagues from De Montfort University, Kent University and University of the Arts London discuss how they are utilising mandatory staff development programmes, in the shape of Postgraduate Certificates to help academic staff to innovate and transform their teaching practice in light of the decolonising agenda.
Each of these institutions have various levels of experience in adopting this approach. Each will explain their individual approaches and reflect on the strengths and challenges they have encountered. In sharing this practice, we hope to inspire other institutions to also take bolder steps to developing a more equitable and inclusive student learning experience through their PG Certs.
We propose to run a structured plenary discussion providing an overview of the different approaches that institutions have taken to bringing issues of inclusive practice, decolonisation and racial and social justice into the key remit of mandatory PG Certs. There will be opportunity for delegates to reflect on challenges/approaches of presenting a similar approach within their institution.

APCEIU is a UNESCO center established in 2000 by agreement between UNESCO and South Korea. It works to promote global citizenship education (GCED) through research, capacity building, and information dissemination in the Asia-Pacific region. Recent activities include forums on GCED, training workshops for teachers and school leaders, and developing a GCED clearinghouse website. Upcoming work includes international surveys on GCED in education policies and a guide for implementing GCED in the South Korean curriculum.
Course design for pre-service secondary teachers
This document describes a study examining a short course designed to help pre-service secondary language teachers develop technology skills and reflective practice. The course involved online collaboration and designing language learning activities using technology. Analysis of the teachers' designs and reflections showed they initially focused on efficiency and language learning, but later emphasized collaboration and interdisciplinary approaches. While some experimented with technology, most activities focused on practicing language rather than authentic tasks. Ongoing professional development was identified as important for developing technology skills suited to teaching contexts.

Para resolver un problema rápidamente, se recomienda comenzar con el sobre naranja y luego resolver los sobres de los demás colores con el número 1, seguido de los sobres con el número 2 y finalmente los sobres con el número 3. Siguiendo este orden se podrá resolver el problema más rápido y con mayor probabilidad de éxito que otros métodos.
Instrucciones Magic Maze
Este juego de mesa tiene como objetivo que un grupo de aventureros encuentre 4 objetos perdidos de diferentes colores en un centro comercial dentro de un tiempo límite de 60 minutos. Para encontrar los objetos, los jugadores deben investigar el centro comercial moviendo sus peones y resolviendo acertijos. Una vez encontrados los objetos, deben responder una pregunta final y escapar por las salidas correspondientes a cada color sin poder hablar para evitar penalizaciones de tiempo. Gana el equipo que complete la misión en menos tiempo.

Reglas scrabble lógico
Este documento presenta las reglas para jugar al juego de mesa Scrabble lógico. Se juega en parejas con 4-5 parejas máximo y una persona como juez. Cada pareja recibe 6 fichas al azar y 3 cartas de la primera fase. La pareja que primero formalice correctamente una carta gana el turno, roba fichas usadas y suma puntos. El turno pasa a la pareja de la izquierda y así sucesivamente hasta completar la primera fase de cartas.
