The document is a series of slides for a study on 2 Timothy 3:1-17. It discusses how in the last days there will be terrible times with people being lovers of themselves, disobedient, unholy, etc. It emphasizes continuing in what you have learned from scripture and how scripture equips you to live righteously. The slides cover the topics of being equipped with internal righteousness through understanding the signs of the times, and being equipped with confidence in scripture by continuing in what you've learned from it.
1 Thessalonians 2:13. Foundational to our faith is the understanding that the Scriptures are the words of God, given to us by God through the Spirit and the prophets so that we can grow in Christ.
In this lesson we consider 9 ways in which we can twist the Scriptures if we are not careful in studying the Scriptures.

Beloved Sisters and Brothers,
Let us follow our Lord until death since He loves us so much that He offered Himself for us all.

In this lesson we will consider the sinfulness of presumption, the sin of trying to think for God. Jehovah has been very clear that we are to obey His commands. When we disobey out ot presumption we dishonor Him and exalt ourselves. This lesson challenges us to consider the areas of our lives in which we are presumptuous.
Throughout New Testament history, Sunday has been an important day for the Christians. Ever since Jesus arose from the grave on Sunday morning, Christians have regarded Sunday as a special day. This was in evidence even before the Bible was completed, as indicated by the Acts 20:7 account, in which it is recorded that the church in Troas gathered together on the first day of the week and Paul preached to the congregation.
Here’s a free sermon outline taken from my forthcoming book, Sermon Outlines for Busy Pastors: Volume 4,which will release in March 2013. The message takes a look at the life of Mark and pulls some life lessons from his life.

Have you ever wondered why God planted the Garden of Eden in a world that was at that time “very good” (Genesis 1:31)? In other words, why did God bother to set up a special place on earth when the whole creation was absolutely perfect to begin with?
Why did God put the Tree of Life in that Garden? This is not a silly question because Adam and Eve had no need to eat of that tree prior to their fall; they had been created originally to live forever. And when they ate of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil - that is, after they had rebelled against God they could no longer get to the Tree of Life because God banished them from the Garden.
A verse by verse commentary on John chapter 15 dealing with Jesus as the true vine, and those who are branches will bear much fruit. Jesus warns that the world will hate and persecute those who follow Him. Jesus says the Father will send the Spirit of Truth to bear witness of Him.
Godliness is often one of the hard to define terms for most saints. Ungodliness is described very clearly in the Scripture as being a failure to respect God, lawlessness, and sensuality. Godliness is respects God and results in respectful living. What does godliness mean about how I should live my life?

Kingdom Life is the Baptismal and New Converts Class at Jesus House DC. It's a 3 week course aimed as building the right foundation for new converts (and revision of mature Christians) and preparing believers of baptism.
These are sermon slides that speak about the importance of Scripture from various different angels with a focus on 2 Tim 3:16-17. While presenting the purpose of Scripture it clearly shows how the power of the same intermingles with our "perfection."
2 Peter 3: Because some scriptures are hard to understand and some will force them to say things God never intended, Peter warns us to take care.

It seems that current missionary work requires spending a lot of money, preparing a lot of materials, and traveling to far away places, so that it feels like missionary work. But what was the result they brought back? It's just a lot of photos of activities, fun eating, drinking and some playing games. And then we have to do the same thing next year, never ending. The church once mentioned that a certain missionary would go to the field where she used to work before the end of his life. It seemed that if she had not gone, no one would be willing to go. The reason why these missionary work is so difficult is that no one obeys God’s words, and the Bible is not the main content during missionary work, because in the eyes of those who do not obey God’s words, the Bible is just words and cannot be connected with life, so Reading out God's words is boring because it doesn't have any life experience, so it cannot be connected with human life. I will give a few examples in the hope that this situation can be changed. A375

In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.
