had a good set of friends, had a partner, and was enjoying his current situation. So what
was troubling him? In the back of his mind Matthew realized he wasn’t sure what he

interested. But he didn’t have a clue as to how to start making plans to attain any one
of them. Besides, he thought, “I’m always working, anyway. How would I have time to

1. Choose Achievable Goals
Dreaming big comes naturally to you. However, no objective is
too small when it comes to creating an effective goal-setting
process.
2.Get Specific
What's the definition of goal setting? I think it's identifying
what you need to accomplish and locking in quantitative
objectives and time frames -- or more simply put, figuring out
realistic ways to get what you want quickly.
3. Check In Weekly
Every week, check in with yourself about your progress. How
much closer are you to meeting your goals? Are you doing
everything you can to make your dreams a reality?

You know what they say: The early bird gets the worm.
Now, imagine that the worm is entrepreneurial success.
5. Progress Is Just As Important As Results
The goal-setting process and the journey you take to achieve
these goals are just as important as the result you desire.
After all, it's the process that gets you where you want to be,
not the result itself.
6. Use The Five-A-Day Rule For Effective Goal Setting
This five-a-day rule isn't about eating your fruits and veggies.
It's about ensuring that you're taking steps every single day to
achieve your goals.
7. Don't Forget About Self-Care
If you're stressed out, overworked and malnourished, you'll
never reach your goals. Or, if you do, you'll be wrecked by
the time you finish.
