Last October I got to host Rick and Nancy overnight after they came to speak to my church. Amazing people who honored me and my church to speak about I.D.E.S. (International Disaster Emergency Services) who does some amazing work between disasters too. As we were eating breakfast the next morning, Rick told me about a trip that he and Nancy were preparing for in January 2011. Rick looked at me and calmly asked me if I wanted to go! almost in the middle of a sentence. I of course calmly, (on the outside :) said "really". He said yes and then I did too.
