Background
The main function of the “Notibox” is to notify
the user when there is/are letter(s) inside the letter
box. The notification is only given when the user
open the house main door.

Problem Statement
These problems occur when the user is not in
the house when the letter is delivered:
 Important letters are uncollected
 Delay in responding urgent letters
 Stealing and destruction of the letters

Objectives
Objectives of this system are:
 To notify user about urgent letters
 To preserve the condition of the letters
 To modify the existing letter box

Literature Review
• A sensor according to www.wikepedia.com is a device that
measures a physical quantity and converts it into a signal.
• A buzzer referring to www.wikepedia.com is a signaling
device.
• A light-emitting diode (LED) is an electronic light source.

• The minimum weight sensor can detect is 70g.

Recommendations
We successfully designed a better letter box than
the existing letter box. We would like to
recommend “Notibox” because it is cheap with
simple mechanism and very helpful in
making our life more organized.
