Lectures ( 2 per day)
Labs ( 2 hr lab 3 or 4 times a week, 2 lab reports per

Problems sheets (3 per week, 6 hours work per sheet)
Holidays (6 weeks for Christmas and Easter!!)

23. A little bit of advice....
• Be on top of work right from the beginning of the term – there’s
too much to catch up at the end
• In the half term go over the work done so far
• Go to revision classes and ask you teachers for extra help
• Retakes can look bad on your application
• Year 12 grades count – this is what universities see when you
apply so make sure they are good!
• UCAS – look up the actual courses not just the social life!
