The ENGAGE model provides a framework for designing engaging learner experiences. It involves 6 steps: (1) Energize learners by focusing and exciting them immediately. (2) Navigate content by presenting compelling material and reviewing lessons. (3) Generate meaning by helping learners determine how the new learning applies to their lives. (4) Apply to the real world by transitioning from knowledge to demonstrating skills in practice. (5) Gauge and celebrate how much was learned. (6) Execute and evaluate by acting on intentions and measuring the impact and success. The model is intended to create learning that lasts and leads to tangible results.
