Grading Information.
2. Review Slidedoc: Writing Open Letters.
3. Read “Dear White America” by George
Yancy and “An Open Letter to Paula Deen”
by Michael W. Twitty
4. To prepare to draft your Open Letter,
complete optional In-Class Exercises:
a. Invention Work for Open Letters.
b. Questions for Analyzing Open Letters.
Week 13
4/13 – 4/17
1. Draft your open letter.
Tuesday, 4/14
1. Post a complete draft of your open letter to
the Peer Review Workshop Discussion
Board (the instructions will appear when you
create a thread)
Thursday, 4/16
1. Complete a review of the peer’s draft that
appears directly below yours.
2. Work on revising your open letter based on
feedback and prepare to submit it on
Sunday.
