Cannabis tourism is emerging as a new form of leisure travel where people visit destinations known for their cannabis-related attractions and activities. Some examples mentioned include destinations like Maine, Michigan, and parts of Minnesota that have legalized medicinal and/or recreational cannabis. One specific example discussed is Muskegon County, Michigan, which has seen over $1.3 million in first year revenue from its 18 cannabis dispensaries and 5 cultivation facilities, as well as 3 cannabis-themed festivals that have attracted tourists.
