Emerald Jewel Industry India Limited is a case study of India's largest jewellery manufacturer in the SAARC countries. Established in 1984, Emerald started with procuring gold from goldsmiths and started its own manufacturing in 1992. It fulfills domestic demand and exports jewellery. Emerald transformed its procedures to become technology-based, introduced over 1 million unique designs, improved quality, and increased production from 400g/month to 2 metric tons/month while maintaining quality. Emerald revolutionized its design process through computer-aided design, extensive research in areas like laser cutting and stone setting, and innovated light weight jewellery designs. The company provides employment to over 2,000 people and trains
