Electronic rapport
• Rapport is a state of harmonious understanding
with another individual or group that enables
greater and easier communication.
• In other words rapport is a close relationship in
which the people or groups concerned are “in
sync” with each other, understand each other's
feelings or ideas, and communicate smoothly.
Building a rapport
• To achieve the benefits of interpersonal rapport in
domains like education, medicine, or even sales,
several methods have been shown to build rapport
between people.
• These methods include;
– coordination
– showing your attentiveness to the other,
– building commonality
– managing the other's self-perception
Benefits
• There have been a number of proposed
benefits from building interpersonal
rapport, which all revolve around
smoother interactions, improved
collaboration, and improved
interpersonal outcomes, though the
specifics differ by the domain.
INTRANET AND EXTRANET
INTRANET
• An intranet is a secure and private enterprise
network that shares data or application resources
via Internet Protocol (IP).
• The prefix "intra" means "internal" and therefore
implies an intranet is designed for internal
communications.
• Some intranets are limited to a specific local area
network (LAN).
• Examples:
• BC Place
EXTRANET
• An Extranet is a private network designed
specifically allow individuals (clients, suppliers,
partners, etc.) to communicate with you and your
employees in a closed virtual space.
• Extranets serve an extremely important role as
• Allow for private communication
• Knowledge sharing
• Document sharing
• Data transfer between organization.
Twenty eight minds one question
• There are 6.77 billion people living on
earth right now.
• Having a five second conversation with
each of them would take nearly 3683
years.
• In other words, it is impossible to know
everyone.
• SO,
• That’s why we set out with
one question
• To get to know our fellows a
little better.
• Think about yourselves
• That is something big or small
• That make you unique
• What makes you “you”
FOR example
• A person having dimple and having good
smile and answer the question like this
MY SMILE
IS MY
EVERYTHING
MY _______
IS _______
• This question is only as the source
of inspiration and also which thing
makes you unique from other.
