Cocodrils are large reptiles that live in warm countries around rivers, lakes, and wetlands. They have armor-like scales and strong jaws with sharp teeth adapted for catching prey. Cocodrils are carnivorous and will eat any animals, including humans, that they can ambush in the water. They reproduce by laying clutches of 20-60 eggs which the mothers guard until hatching. The Nile cocodril lives throughout the Nile River and parts of Africa, changing its diet as it grows from eating insects and small animals to larger prey like antelopes and buffalo. Adult Nile cocodrils can reach over 7 meters in length.
