3. Ellikqala
•Ellikqala is a district of Karakalpakstan in Uzbekistan. The
capital lies at Bo’ston.There is one city and twelwe villages
holding an official status( Amirobod, Guldursun, Guliston,
Navoiy, Oqchako’l, Saribiy, Tozabog’, Sharq yulduzi,
Ellikqal’a , Qizilqum, Qilchinoq, Qirqqiz)
4. THE ORIGINOF ELLIKQALA
• District of Karakalpakstan. It was founded on March 23, 1977. To the north is the
Kyzylorda region of the Republic of Kazakhstan, to the west is Beruni, Takhtakor,
jan. It is bordered by Turtkul district, Navoi region in the east and Khorezm region
in the south-west. The area is 5.4 thousand km². The population is 119.1 thousand
people (2004). The district has 1 city (Boston), 12 rural communities. The center is
the city of Boston. The relief of the district consists of a flat plain that descends from
south to north, and is composed of alluvial marine deposits formed during the
Cretaceous and Paleogene periods. Shallow depressions, dry stretches, small hills
are also common.
5. The climate is sharply continental. Cold air masses from Siberia arrive
from the northeast. A pumping station built on the Amudarya will supply
water to the Amirabad and Qalacha canals. Zal water from Ellikkala
district and neighboring districts is discharged to Kyzylkum pastures by
Ayozkala pumping station in Kyzylkum collector. The soils are sandy,
loamy, gray. Wild plants include hare, sagebrush, sagebrush, sagebrush,
sagebrush, and reed. There is also a saxophone. Wild animals include
wolves, badgers, wolverines, foxes, rabbits, and wild boars; from reptiles
we encounter lizards, snakes. There are several species of pheasants,

agriculture. Livestock, silkworm breeding, horticulture and
melon growing are also developed. There are companies,
farmers and farms in Ellikkala district. Cotton, grain,
potatoes, melons, vegetables and fodder crops are grown on
irrigated lands. There are 44.9 thousand cattle, 67.2
thousand sheep and goats, about 2 thousand yearlings, as
well as camels in the public and private farms of the district.

8. Ellikqalʼa oltin tola, Elnur, and Elteks joint-stock companies also
operate. There is an oil depot "Ellikkala", a financial and business
center, a supermarket, 2 mini-markets, "Father's Teahouse", brick
factories and other construction companies, trade, cultural and
consumer services.There are 66 general education schools (more than
30,000 students), academic lyceums (about 500 students), 4 vocational
colleges (more than 2,500 students), and 7 gifted children's schools
(about 1,000 students) in the district (2004). There is a central library
and its 31 branches, al-Khwarizmi, Youth Avenues, Culture and
Recreation Park, 12 club establishments, a palace of arts, a travel
agency "Ayozkala-Tour".

9. There are 66 general education schools, academic lyceum, 4
vocational college and 7 gifted children's schools in the
district (2004). There is a central library and its 31 branches,
al-Khwarizmi, Youth Avenues, Culture and Recreation Park,
12 club establishments, a palace of arts, a travel agency
"Ayozkala-Tourhere are "Gulshan" children's camp, 3 cooling
sanatoriums, "Aral children" international educational and
health center. There is an architectural and sculptural
complex "Respect for the Master". The Uchkuduk-Nukus
railway (Ellikkala station) passes through the district.

10. Ellikkala district (Karakalpak: Ellikkala district, Ellikkala district) is an
administrative unit of Karakalpakstan (Uzbekistan). The administrative
