ABOUT US
3. • The elementary school curriculum is comprehensive and focuses on
developing strong foundational skills in English Language Arts,
Mathematics, UAE and US Social Studies, Arabic Language, Islamic
Education, Moral Education, Science, Information Technology, Physical
Education, Art, and Music. Like the Kindergarten curriculum, the
elementary curriculum is developed to ensure that all children succeed,
including those who develop at different rates. It continues to be active,
social, integrated and seeks to capitalize on children’s natural curiosity and
desire to explore the world around them.
• Across all subject areas, the curriculum is designed to ensure that students
meet the requirements. It is imperative to provide students with
experiential learning opportunities both in the classroom and in the wider
community. This will enable them to make connections between their
knowledge and Emirati culture in the real world. As in the earlier phases,
the curriculum continues to be inclusive, adaptable, culturally relevant,
active, social, and integrated.
