York State Education Department (NYSED). The Elementary School
curriculum builds upon young children’s natural curiosity and enthusiasm for
learning and develops these traits to their fullest potential. The Middle School
provides a transition for the students while enabling them to take command of
their learning.
• Academic selections include core courses that are required of all students and
exploratory choices which is a rotation of drama, computers, art, and music
throughout the school year. The High School curriculum, which leads to an
American High School Diploma, allows students to choose from a range of
electives to meet their interests, talents, and aspirations. Students have the
choice to take one or more of the Advanced Placement AP courses. These
courses offer students an opportunity to engage in deep academic inquiry and
explore new material.
