22. Resume Cover Letter Dear Ms. Clarke, I am contacting you to apply for an entry position in anesthesiology. Also to share with you my experiences, skills, and things that interests me pertaining to this field. Respiratory care interests me because it is strictly one thing. You are given a fixed schedule and do not have to be on call. You can move around the hospital and meet different people; also you don’t get bored staying in the same area. I think that I am the best for this position, because I think I have all of the qualities required for the position such as hard work, determination, perseverance, and respect. I play the harp so hard work, self proficiency, and determination are skills that I have developed over the years. I also have perseverance because I’ve had to overcome a lot of adversity in my life and I never give up. For example, my mom had breast cancer and it frightened out family to death. I thought she was going to die. She is cancer free but it took so much perseverance and hope to get through it. I show respect to everyone. My experience in anesthesia started was when I was really young. My dad is an anesthesiologist and I have learned a lot about in from him. It makes me want to pursue this career because I can follow in my dad’s footsteps and I will have an opportunity to help others. Thank you for taking time out of your busy schedule to consider me as a candidate for the position. I look forward to meeting with you for a personal interview.
