Recognising residents’ anxieties come from:

 lack of confidence in a good outcome
 fear of the unknown


This often leads to:

 Confrontation
 lack of understanding
 conflict
Becoming a target....how to handle this?

 Don’t take it personally


 Don’t make false promises
  but keep positive

 STEP BACK WHEN NEEDED
 Support from other
 residents

 Know that you are not
 responsible for the
