We are a relatively new company that prides itself on being that. Even as our
management team and staff have a long history of serving the Building, Mining
and Construction Industries, it has been a new and rewarding experience to

Workshops
In 2013 we amalgamated three Workshops under one roof, to our newly built 2,600m2
workshops and offices at 15 Christable Way, Landsdale WA 6065
Operational employees
We employ over 55 operational employees, including design, engineering, boilermakers,
welders, stainless steel fabricators, glaziers, sheet metal workers, carpenters, crane drivers
and riggers. The structural steel workshop is currently operating over two shifts.

The workshops feature the following;
 4 x 10 tonne gantry cranes
 130Ton Press Brake and Guillotine up to 8mm plate
 1000mm jaw opening Band Saw, capable of mitre cutting in both directions
 500mm jaw opening Bandsaw
 300mm plate width capacity Punch and Shear, plate up to 25mm thick

Much of this work is completed in-house and, where required, outsourced to quality

Welding processes
We employ our own in-house Welding Supervisor, and Production Systems Manager.
NDT
All Non Destructive Testing (NDT) is outsourced to a NATA endorsed inspection company.
We offer the following welding processes:
•GMAW and GMAW Pulse
•Flux Cord Arc Welding (FCAW)
•Manual Metal Arc Welding (MMAW)
•Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) – (TIG)

Subject to individual requirements and job specifications, mobile cranes brought in to suit
each project.
Site work
We have our own specialised site installation teams; made up of qualified installers to
handle all aspects of the site installation, be it erecting structural steel, glass, curtain walling,
stick systems, aluminium, or stainless steel. Elcord has a full complement of mobile plant
and equipment, which insures prompt mobilisation.
Surface treatment
We use external painting contractors who are fully accredited and conform to
ISO 9001:2008 standards.
Drafting division
Elcord employs in-house drafts people. Our experienced and professional drafting staffs use
the latest 3D software. Elcord Pty Ltd has access to a network of professional external drafts
people.
Quality Assurance/ Accreditation
Elcord is always working to improve quality assurance and accreditation systems.
