Search Engine Optimization Simplified - a well built website, rich with relevant and
timely content, with links back from other relevant credible websites
Suggestions
• Domain name if at all possible should use main keyword(s)
• Page Title no more than 65 chars with 3-5 keywords avoid stop words i.e

• Meta Description no more than160 chars
• Headings of page should contain most relevant keywords in order of
importance
• Inner link if possible but don’t over do

10. Website, Blog, Blogsite
• Website – information and content about business should be updated
regularly but can be cumbersome and require third-party
• Blog – is used for news or conversation about topics relevant to an interest,
used by business to discuss a business relevant topic
• Blogsite – does both
Suggestions:
•Create an update or communications calendar
•If using a website make sure you update it at least twice a month with new relevant content
•Incorporate a blog – Wordpress, Tumblr, Blogger
•Blogsites is the new website because the blog becomes the regular update
•Use the SEO tips when building content or writing articles in blog
