This document discusses the development of a remote color controller for an LED lamp to be used inside an electromagnetically shielded room with a Magnetoencephalography (MEG) brain scanner. The controller software allows generation of colors across the visual spectrum and control of color saturation. Tests show it is feasible to use the LED lamp and controller software with the MEG scanner for research on human color judgment and perception. The software provides adjustable color combinations and saturation to illuminate objects while subjects are scanned inside the shielded room.
